DLT is an allied health/paramedical course that are concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases through clinical laboratory tests. Lab Technologists are needed by doctors to help analyze results for treating diseases that they specialize in. Diploma in Laboratory Techniques is skilled workers who work with complex systems, and perform highly technical mechanical or diagnostic tests to detect the presence or absence of certain microorganisms in a patient’s sample. They collect samples, study and perform tests on body fluids, teeth, chemical compounds, and other biological specimens.
